True act of Heroism

Front-liners, those brave men and women who did not give up and sacrifice themselves to protect and save everyone. Fearless people who fought and stood in the front line to save the people against the invisible enemy. In this raging battle, many have fallen, people with dreams yet to achieve, who may not see another rising sun. They may not be forever with us, but those who served us well will forever be remembered. Truly they have not lived a full life, but they sacrificed themselves to protect others, their will to sacrifice for the betterment of mankind is a true heroism. The video just not to remind us how the frontliners sacrificed themselves to save us, but also to remind that we hold our own safety.Let's not just make the frontliners to save us, we must work together to win the fight against our microscopic enemy. We give thanks to our hero!

Pandemic Ka Lang, I am a Filipino

When the Covid-19 Pandemic started many have changed, Filipino youths and elderly were harshly affected by the virus, the crowded places before now emptied, schools filled with students during face-to-face learning is now emptied, everyone is having a very hard time to survive.

We shouldn't be demoralized, for we ourselves are the ones who gave birth to this monster. We fed Nature hate. We believed that it will cease our suffering. Proclaimed it to be our sole method of survival. As a result, she returned the hate to us; in the most stormy way possible. Manifesting all that bottled rage into one single catastrophe: absurd levels of peril, no hope, no prosperity, only the abandonment of normal life.

As of our current situation numbers of people getting infected by Covid-19 in the Philippines rises, I know everyone had a bad time due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Alam ko na mahirap ang mawalay sa ating pamilya at kaibigan, pero para din ito sa ating kaligtasan, I know that we can face and end this Pandemic as one, We Filipinos are stronger, tougher than any other calamities, if we stand out as one, we can face all sorts of challenges, Not just because we are young it doesn't mean we can't do anything to help, we may not notice it but what we're doing is helping, just by following safety protocols to minimize and decrease the possibility for the virus to spread.

Alam kong may mga nahihirapang mag-adjust, di sanay sa so called New Normal, it will be over soon, just follow safety protocols and even donate Foods or Small amount of cash to those who are in need we can beat Covid-19 as one. Yes, I know we are weak, should we give up?, Magpapatalo tayo?, NO!, We may be little in number and but if we all unite as one, help each other and faced the problem as one, we can accomplish anything! Now that we are enmeshed in this conflict for survival, let us help each other, pray that this would end!

Reflection!!

The last chapter of the school year 2019-2020 will come to an end and as for the ICT10 and yet I faced challenges that were resolved thanks to my ever supporting classmates and to our great and beautiful ICT10 Teacher, There may still be problems that are yet to be resolved but I know with the help of my classmates, friends and our teacher I know I can find a way to solve it.

Moving on, I should work faster and serious when doing activities, stop fooling around and talking to my seatmate so I can finish the activities faster.

I will never forget the time where I was happy with the best classmates, alongside with Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz our beautiful ICT10 teacher and our great adviser Mr. Vads Avisa and our other teachers.

ALL IS WELL!!!
MAXWELL!!!

Everyone has dreams. Weather they be to become a scientist and discover new and amazing things, or become a Sea-man and at the same time to be successful lawyer, people dream about their future. I have dreams for the future just like everyone else. Dreams of the good life, with lots of money, successful business, and fast cars! And I will do whatever it takes to achieve it.

When I was a young child I first dreamed to be a great teacher but my sister said I would become a great lawyer while my mother said I would be the 5th one to be a Sea-man among my uncles, but as I grew older I kept reading about being a seaman and a lawyer then I begun like and want to become both of them that's why I started to earn money for my college.

I wanted to become a Seaman to continue the path my uncle started and to be lawyer so I can defend and save the oppressed.

Foundation Day is the most awaited and the busiest occasion celebrated in our school. This year, Ilocos Sur National Highschool celebrates its 118th Foundation Day! Foundation Day is what students and teachers had been waiting for. Everyone was busy practicing and preparing for this HS Day. Students from the Junior and Senior Highschool had been busy practicing with their MAPEH teachers for weeks in preparation for the field demo.

This festival at the end of January celebrates the best of Ilocos Sur culture, from traditional dress and folk dance to tribal rituals and marching band contests.

Ilocos Sur is a beautiful province located in the northern part of Luzon. It is a province rich in culture that represents the ancient Spanish and Filipino heritage. To show and share their treasures to the whole world, the locals conceived a festival that highlights these cultural traditions and they called it the “Kannadiwan Festival”.

It is a celebration that lasts from the last week of January up to the first week of February. Included in the course of events is the commemoration of the foundation day of the province.

On the opening day, there is usually a mass held at the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral. It is followed by a procession of the Patron Saints of the 40 parishes and images of Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary around the city. It is the Ilocanos' way of giving thanks to the Almighty not only for the bountiful blessings but also for the rich heritage of the city, including the close family ties among the Ilocanos.

Change starts with me!!

 Change must start within:

Change happens whether we like it or not and regardless of whether we do anything about it. Tomorrow will be different than today. We can resist, but that is a bit like standing in a river and trying to hold back the water – useless. We have a choice to watch change passively happening around us, or to participate and lead it.

Most people who say they don’t like change mean they don’t like when it happens to them, but they don’t mind if they are the ones initiating the change. We’d rather be the changer than the change-ee.

Changes are taking place on all levels, from simple to complex; whether the minuscule transformations of our brain cells to the political crises unfolding around the world. Some changes we can manage, some we can influence, but realistically, most are outside our control. Statistically few of us will change the history of the world in a momentous way. Individually we cannot eradicate war, poverty, greed and corruption. I won’t invent a cure for cancer or solve the opiate crisis. But I can change myself. And in changing myself I may have a greater, more positive impact on my world – the one in which I actually live.
